The Alhambra Theatre Trust Presents

Alhambra Summer Theatre Experience

The original and best theatre summer school in Fife, running since 2011. Two weeks of acting, singing and dance with industry professionals — building to a live performance on our own stage.

13th – 25th July 2026

About the Course

Our annual Alhambra Summer Theatre Experience returns for 2026, running 13th–25th July and building towards a glittering performance on the Alhambra's own stage — the same boards used by professional touring productions throughout the year.

Over two weeks, participants train in acting, singing and dance with theatre industry professionals, with real focus given to audition skills alongside performance. Expect excerpts and songs from favourite and upcoming musicals, plus a medley of pop hits, all building towards the final show.

Whether they've joined us every summer since 2011 or this is their very first time on stage, the course welcomes every level — no previous experience or audition required.

Good news for 2026: the course fee stays frozen at last year's price — £265 for the full two weeks.

What Families Say

Grace had a great time last year, this is something she has wanted to do from the first time she had seen a panto at the age of 4 – to be on stage singing in the Alhambra.

The course has given her the confidence she needed to take part but to also join ASDS where she continues her singing and classes each week. It has really brought her out her shell.

I loved my 1st Alhambra summer school last year especially Matilda. It was good fun & we got to do lots of singing & dancing. I loved all the costumes too & I can't wait for this summer.
