The Producers and theatre management have together taken the sensible and cautious view that proceeding with any further dates this month would be irresponsible given the concerns over the spread of COVID-19, particularly given the large number of NHS staff who come to these shows. Adam would like to make the following statement:
“I have made the difficult decision to postpone all
performances of
This is Going to Hurt in March and April. I was due to perform at a
dozen theatres across the UK, and it now feels like I would be putting
the nearly 20,000 people attending these shows at a small, but clearly
increasing, and unnecessary risk.
I am truly sorry for any disappointment, but health must always come
first.”
We appreciate your understanding during these unprecedented times, it is our priority to not contribute to the spread of COVID-19, or the potential for the UK to be short-staffed in hospitals when it needs its NHS the most.
This event has been rescheduled to Friday 16th October. All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date. Any ticket holders unable to make the rearranged date are advised to contact the Alhambra Theatre box office or whichever agency the ticket was purchased from.
